The creators of Trainz Simulator tried to make you feel like you're controlling a train on the railway and there's an opportunity to do that. To build the road, you need to take down mountains. The cities should be built along your road. You are given a chance to control the train, but also to create the infrastructure, study the station and manage the railway in the game.
